Welcome To Bermudian!
Larry Mark Dentler, Pastor Jonathan Bream, Youth
Our fellowship began in 1758 in what was the Pennsylvania wilderness west of the Susquehanna River . This means with the new millennium we have been an active fellowship of believers in four different centuries: 1700s, 1800s, 1900s and now the 2000s! You might think this means we are a Church Family stuck in the “historical” mode, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Bermudian Church is a wonderful place with those solid roots that can only come from a long, faithful heritage, yet with openness to new ideas and new friends! Join us and you’ll find a very unique and very special Church Family . . . maybe just what you’ve been looking for!
This year will be one of great celebration! The Church of the Brethren celebrates 300 years since the 1708 baptisms in Germany that mark our beginning. The Bermudian Church celebrates our 250th Anniversary since representatives of the Ephrata Cloister planted this new congregation on the "wild frontier" west of the Susquehanna River.
