Asking for help is hard, we don;t want to be a burden or feel our situation or problem is too small to be of concern for God. But looking at Scripture, it's clear that God wants us to turn to Him. He wants us to acknowledge our need, not hide from it. We are free to seek help, even encouraged to do so!
Here are three truths that may be helpful in softening your heart in this struggle: 1) Needing help has always been part of God's design for us.
2) Asking for help is a blessing to others (it gives them an opportunity to serve God and to share Christ's love with you). 3) Asking for help acknowledges the truth of our need for God and of God's grace. Please consider these sources if you are in need of help during a difficult problem.
Note: Professional services do involve costs, but your church family at Bermudian wants you to receive the help you need. If you are seeking professional help and need financial aid, please speak to our pastor, ministers, or deacons.
